Teenagers are going to love this one! Totem Pole is an interesting addition to the contained list of festivals that teenagers are allowed to attend. A music festival created specially for teens, it offers a fun-filled ambience, where teenagers can party in a smoke and alcohol free zone that will come as a great relief to parents. The festival will see a number of international artists and popular Indian bands including The Raghu Dixit Project, Best Kept Secret, Kefaya and Navid AKA B-boy Spaghetti.
Apart from this, the festival will also be conducting a school band competition for the first time. The competition is called Top of the Pole, and the winning band will become the Totem Pole Band of the Year. Ashish Manchanda, founder of Flying Carpet Productions, tells us, “We strongly feel that where there is a will, there is a way. We have wanted to organise a festival for young people for a while. It has taken time and effort to find the right partners and artists who would support such a cause and we are happy that we are so close to our first edition. We hope that you will be able to have bigger Totem Poles in the future!”
