Laugh out loud
You gotta love the Comedy Store. They are really making us laugh on the gloomiest of days and their latest show is going to be no different. The guys at The Comedy Store are bringing down the immensely popular international stand up comedian Imran Yusuf to Mumbai to tickle the funny bones of Mumbaikars from the June 9 to 19. Yusuf was to noticed following rave reviews and a Best Newcomer nomination for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010.
Born in Mombasa, Kenya to parents of Indian origin, Imran Yusuf was raised in Hackney, East London. He seamlessly switches between styles with graceful fluidity, repeatedly delivering heavy-weight punch lines with enormous panache. Yusuf says, “I am loving my stint here in India! Indian audiences have been great, they're quite comedy savvy, politically aware and I love the fact that I can embellish my set with a bit of Urdu, which I almost never get to do back at home. I have been doing new stuff every day, changing my act and incorporating new material based on my experiences here. And it has been awesome.”
Imran is a delight to watch and an absolute rib-tickler of a comic! Don’t miss the show!
