KHAZANA — A FESTIVAL OF GHAZALS
Khazana — A Festival of Ghazals is a decade old concept that began as a platform for ghazal artists to showcase their talent to an audience that appreciated their music. Talented ghazal singers of this decade such as Pankaj Udhas, Bhupinder Singh & Mitali Singh, Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz, Ahmed Hussain, Mohd. Hussain and Kavita Seth, as well as young, talented ghazal singers such as Runa Rizvi & Neha Rizvi, Sumeet Tappoo, Anita Singhvi, Sudeep Banerji & Pooja Gaitonde will perform together for a noble cause. The proceeds from this festival will be used to raise funds for Cancer Aid and Thalassemia awareness. Executive vice president of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Devendra Bharma, says, “Being a festival that will feature India’s foremost Ghazal singers, The Oberoi, Mumbai is both honoured and proud to host this event and will endeavour to continue supporting causes and events that assist the less fortunate in Mumbai.” Donor cards for the event are priced at Rs 5,000 per day and are available at Rhythm House, Fort.
