Instead of going to a multiplex this weekend, head over to The Pantry, where you can watch two short films that they are screening. In association with Mac Productions and the Shamiana Short Film Club, The Pantry will be screening In Chambers and Artificio Conceal. In Chambers is a short film made in Norway by Aleksander Nordas that portrays how people in comas experience reality. Artificio Conceal by Ayoub Qanir, is about a man who finds himself in the interrogation room at Interpol and realises that his mind has been hacked, all his memories have been replaced, and his identity is lost. He must now discover who hacked into his system and stole the device that is responsible for time itself.
Sumit Gambir, co-owner of The Pantry at Kalaghoda says, “It’s been a successful year of screening short films in association with Shamiana Short Film Club and Mac Productions, who are our film curators. On every last Friday of the month, we get different film enthusiasts to screen their films from different genres, giving our audience a chance to sit back, relax and indulge in scrumptious dinner while watching the films.”
