Make sure you flaunt an ethnic, stylish look this Navratri by picking the most fashionable outfits. Designer duo Riddhi & Siddhi Mapxencar give us a few tips:
- Kurtis are the best bet and the latest styles of designer kurtis are undoubtedly chic and at the same time they manage to retain that traditional appeal for festivals.
- It’s best to choose materials such as silk or raw-silk, silk cotton, shimmer georgette and crepe silk. Since Navratri is a vibrant festival, there’s no need to be cautious or worry about colours that are too bright.
- Bright colours such as orange, purple and yellow are very trendy during Navratri. It’s best to pick a kurti with just one part that has an embroidered pattern rather than the entire kurti featuring ornate workmanship.
- You can also wear kurtis that flaunt bold embroidered and heavily embellished motifs during Navratri. Get such a stylish kurti and pair it with a pair of slim fit denims, skinny jeans, capris or a pair of leggings for an Indo-Western fusion look along with ethnic accessories for that touch of ethnic appeal.
- Try out different ways of draping your dupatta across the front, the back, knotted at one end, over just one side — try to create a new, unusual silhouette that will breathe added appeal into your ghaghra choli outfit.
