Concert Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival
Purva Indulkar tells you about the largest camping festival in India, organised by BACARDI
There is a certain irony in holding India’s largest camping festival in the luxurious Aamby Valley, but the BACARDI Enchanted Valley Carnival is bringing these opposites together, along with an exciting line-up of Indian as well as international artists. Crowd favourites Tiesto and Fatboy Slim will be headlining the event, which also features international artists such as Alex Morph, Noisecontrollers, Dzeko and Torres, Dubfire and Far East Movement. Popular Indian artists such as Arjun Vagale, Lost Stories, Nucleya and Zaeden will also entertain the crowd with their foot-tapping tunes. Armada, one of the biggest music labels in the world, is also bringing Thomas Gold, Omnia, Ben Gold and Ruben de Ronde to Aamby Valley. The festival will have separate stages for trance, house, techno, dubstep and future house genres. There will also be a Full on Ferry stage, programmed by Ferry Corsten and featuring back-to-back performances by Marco V, Alex Morph and RAM. The newest addition to the festival this year, a stage at the campsite, will showcase live and experimental music by various bands before festival hours and bring some fresh excitement for regular festival-goers. Shoven Shah, founder of Enchanted Valley Carnival told us, “While the heart of all festivals revolves around music, the spirit of EVC is in the stages, the community and a campsite that will truly glorify the magic of nature and the environment.”
