A spellbinding exhibit
Shefali Shah’s new art exhibition, Melange, is sure to leave you spellbound. Her work is contemporary and she uses water colours, as it allows to express her thoughts and ideas freely. Her new art work dwells on the beauty of nature and how our routine lives do not allow us to think about the winds and the seas. Shah’s works highlight the spirit of nature in all its forms, such as fire, water and earth. She says, “I have always been fascinated by the simple colours that nature has to offer. My pieces in this series are inspired by natural elements, that is, wind, water, fire and earth; these rich colours give me the freedom to express my emotions. Melange aims to portray the power of the free flowing colours of nature in harmony, with an inner state of mind.” You can feast your eyes on the riot of colours on display and also lose yourself in the feelings and thoughts evoked by each of the paintings displayed.
