This weekend, the Reclamation ground will be playing host to The Lil Flea — an event that promises to be a lot of fun; full of shopping opportunities and entertainment. You can look forward to some great apparel, jewellery, home décor and lifestyle products. The two-day flea market will also feature pop-up exhibitions and a number of booths where you can experience street cuisine as well as take part in culinary workshops. That's not it, they will also have two music zones, which will showcase live entertainment by some of Mumbai's upcoming singers and songwriters.
There are also several shopping options; from home décor and accessories by Design Pataki, Fuschia Lane, Elan, Studio Alag and Roti Kapda aur Makan and kids wear by Acute Angle and Nee & Oink, to sarees by Myrah and casual wear by Masala Tee and Sattva. There will also be themed clothes by Vox-pop Clothing and bags, shoes and clutches from Dash of Bling. You can also look forward to workshops on hair braiding, baking ceramics, pottery, dream catcher making, cupcake making and hula hoop dancing workshops.
The major focus at The Lil Flea is their The Lil Pop-Up Cafe, where you can enjoy amazing food and refreshing drinks while being entertained by live music or short films. Some of short films that will be showcased include award-winning and include Positive, directed by Farhan Akhtar; Big Buck Bunny, directed by Sacha Goedegebure; My Last Photograph, directed by Ravi Vide; How To Mess Up Love, directed by M. Balaji; Time Peak, directed by Andrew Bowler; Anchored, directed by Lindsey Olivares and Cockroach, directed by Luke Eve. You can also enjoy the music of artists such as Clayton Hogermeer, Ayush Shrestha, Krishna Marathe, Aria and the bands Titanium and The Filter Coffee.
