Celebrating its five year anniversary, Canvas Laugh Club has put together a power-packed week of comic revelling, which began earlier this week. As popular comedians of Mumbai are set to crack you up with their zany gags, The Nation Wants To Know takes on India’s pre and post liberalisation periods from the point of view of a ludicrous Bengali. Next in store, is a round of Hinglish comedy as Canvas Laugh Club takes the plunge with the Hinglish Gang for the first time! “Developing the comedy genre in regional languages, has always been part of our long-term vision and Hindi is the first step. The process began with our first ever Hinglish comedy. The Hinglish boys promise to be a laugh riot,” says founder Amar Agrawal. Ironically, taking their audience very seriously, this go-to comedy factory caters to all. Let your kids dwell over the escapades of Noddy, while you watch the story of a woman dipped in outrageous comedy with The Vagina Monologues! Tickets start from Rs 400 onwards.
