Israeli PM’s son under fire for anti-Semitic post
Israeli political leaders lashed out at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's eldest son today for posting an anti-Semitic caricature aimed at his father's critics. Yair Netanyahu's meme shows American Jewish billionaire George Soros and a figure that resembles Nazi depictions of world Jewry manipulating former Prime Minister Ehud Barak and two leaders of weekly protests calling on Netanyahu to step down over corruption allegations. The post was shared by former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke and other anti-Semites.

Iraq holding hundreds of foreign IS family members
Iraqi forces are holding more than 1,300 foreign women and children, the families of Islamic State fighters, at a camp for displaced people in northern Iraq. The 1,333 individuals, from 14 countries, surrendered to Kurdish forces at the end of August after an Iraqi offensive drove the extremist group from the northern town of Tal Afar, near Mosul, Iraqi security officials said. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity in keeping with military protocol. They say the women and children will not be charged with crimes and will likely be repatriated to their home countries.

Nissan unveils new Leaf e-vehicle, eyes India EV push
Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co is willing to partner with the Indian government in its push for electric vehicles in the country, Executive Vice-President Daniele Schillaci has said. Schillaci, Executive V-P, global marketing and sales, said Nissan is already working on a long-term plan for India, which will be unveiled soon. As part of the broader process, the Japanese automobile major launched its new Leaf electric vehicle (EV) on September 6, which will go on sale in Japan from October 2 and in Canada and the US from January next year.  "Government of India has made a huge statement, it wants that only electric cars should be operating by 2030... In the auto industry, 10 years is just a long term and so clearly, we would like Nissan to be in India and we are working on that," Schillaci said.
