We’ve been following Shaheen Peerbhai’s blog for years now and it’s only got better with time. Shaheen has helped us out with hints and tips, valuable shopping guides, delectable pictures and the most delicious recipes you can imagine. Her blog is invaluable more because she has experience, knowledge and a passion that we haven’t seen on any other blog before or after. And the Le Cordon Bleu certification sure helps!

Kalyan Karmakar’s blog is a slow starter, but once it grows on you... well, you’re going to keep going back to it. This is a melting pot of everything food related; it includes restaurant reviews, tidbits, tips and delicious recipes. What first stoked our interest about this blog were the curated walks that take you on a food trail around the city and include community walks as well as walks that can be cutomised according to the size of your food-loving group.

Rhea Mitra Dalal is the wife of caterer Khurush Dalal and it shows in her blog. Passionate about both eating and cooking, the pretty purple blog is filled with lip smacking pictures, witty posts and a lot of writing that comes straight from the heart. From the nostalgic Railway Mutton Curry to Bacon Cake (you read that right!) and a sprinkling of Parsi cuisine delights, we love browsing through this blog.

For a spattering of culture and a lot of exploring, visit this blog that’s filled with food events, stories about different cultures and a lot of good food. We don’t love this blog for the recipes (there aren’t too many), we love it for the inspiration it gives us to dig in to tasty food! It’s extremely informative, so if you want a good lesson in different types of food and a lot of interesting links, log on.

There are a lot of healthy blogs out there, but none are as appealing as this one. We love the recipe index, with everything neatly categorised so that you can find a good, healthy recipe in a hurry. Nandita Iyer is a doctor and nutritionist, so you can be sure the food is good for you. The blog is a treasure trove for vegetarians, with everything from snacks and salads to main course and dessert options accompanied by attractive pictures and great recipes.
