Purva Indulkar takes a look at what our celebs wore this week at the red carpet

Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi is certainly not playing it safe with this outfit. We love the flowy elegance of the gown and also the slim silhouette that accentuates here toned physique. But, we wish she had tied her hair up so we could’ve gotten an eye-full of the cut-out back more. The print on the gown, although colourfully contrasting its white simplicity, is difficult to point out. But we like her understated earrings that keep the focus on the gorgeous gown.

Amayra Dastur
The starlet’s fashion choice for the red carpet is quite predictable. The gown, with it’s fitted pattern and revealing neck, doesn’t offer anything new. But we like her simple hoops and elegant makeup. Her gold shoes are also an interesting contrast to the red dress, but we’re still underwhelmed.

Athiya Shetty
While most celebrities pick muted tones such as midnight blue and sea green, we’re giving Athiya brownie points for taking a risk in this lime yellow gown. We’re in love with it- it’s structure, pattern, colours and fabric all bring out the beauty of the person sporting it. We’re also impressed with her make-up with pink undertones and hair in classic, Hollywood waves.

Kim Sharma
Kim Sharma’s messy waves and nude lipstick allows all the focus to stay on her outfit, which is slightly drab. The glittering, tight dress looks more appropriate for a New Year’s part, not a red carpet. The black cluth also doesn’t complement the look. We do love her metallic pumps though!

Waluscha D’Souza
Grey is not a colour celebrities experiment too much with, so Walushca’s choice certainly caught our attention. We love the gown’s grecian silhouette and breezy fabric, she also carries the plunging necklice with confidence. Our only qualm is, had she let her hair loose she would’ve looked like a true nymph!

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)Extra caution is needed especially if your work is of the speculative kind. Your recent success makes you complacent; you may be unaware that some forces are working against you. A tempting job offer at this juncture could lead to an uncertain future. A flirtation or attraction to a colleague or someone you know is likely and should be handled tactfully. You will not do anything, which can be termed unethical or immoral whether in love or relationship.
