Sony Entertainment Television launches ‘Zindagi Ke Crossroads’
Life is filled with decisions and choices that we make on an everyday basis. Most of these decisions are simple choices whereas some are more difficult than others. However, there are some decisions, once taken, their impact can never be undone and define your character as a person. These decisions are made when you are at crossroads, when your decision gives a direction to your life and alters the course of not just your life but also of those who matter the most to you. How does one take such decisions and come to terms with them? These are the questions that Sony Entertainment Television seeks to ask as well as answer through its latest offering “Zindagi Ke Crossroads”. Prime time television in India will see a first-of-its kind format, which will show relatable life-altering narratives inspired from the drama of life and before a ‘Crossroad’ decision is taken, it’ll be put forth to the studio audience, which will be a representation of our country in some measure, for deliberation and see what most of us would’ve done. Popular television actor Ram Kapoor will be seen as the host of the show who will not just encourage the audience to share their views but will also delve into the “Whys” of their decision making. The show premieres on June 6 and will air every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Richard Gere to star in TV series 'MotherFatherSon'
Hollywood veteran Richard Gere has been officially confirmed to star in his first major TV role in "MotherFatherSon" after a gap of nearly three decades. The 68-year-old actor will star in the eight-part original drama, which is being made by BBC Studios Drama London for BBC Two, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gere will play Max, a charming self-made American businessman with media outlets in London and around the world in the announced series. The BBC show comes from "Assassination of Gianni Versace" writer, Tom Rob Smith and James Kent has been confirmed as lead director. "MotherFatherSon" will be distributed internationally by BBC Studios. Filming will begin this summer in London and on location in Spain.

The most anticipated show, 'Dil Hi Toh Hai' will soon hit the small screens on Sony Entertainment Television. This show under Ekta Kapoor’s banner, has already been in buzz for its concept and the casting. From roping in the talented and charming Karan Kundra to Yogita Bihani who got her claim to fame from Dus ka Dum, there has been a lot of noise around the other cast. Making a comeback on TV is yet another charming and big star Poonam Dhillon, who is coming back on the same channel after her successful show ‘Ekk Nayi Pehchaan’. She is a versatile actor and has worked across mediums entertaining her audiences. She will be seen playing the mother of the male protagonist Ritwik Noon and is replacing Geetanjali Tikekar.
