
Pyarelal gets ‘emotional’ on ‘Mere Sai’ sets
Veteran violinist-turned-composer Pyarelal, an ardent devotee of Sai Baba, expressed a wish to compose a song for ongoing 'Mere Sai' show and with wife Sunila, approached the makers for the same. After a few meetings, the veteran film composer-conductor-arranger created a special song for TV show 'Mere Sai'. After completing the process of composing the song, Pyare felt that he should also visit the sets when his song is picturised on location with the actors. Pyarelal was moved to tears when he visited the sets, the entire backdrop of Shirdi recreated from the earlier times and its aesthetic appeal made him emotional. Actor Abeer Soofi, who plays the role of Sai Baba in the show, said, “It was a momentous occasion on the sets when Pyarelal visited us. I was humbled in the presence of the composer. The entire team of 'Mere Sai' is grateful that a noted celebrity like Pyarelal has composed a song for our show. We conducted a short tour of the sets for our esteemed guest which overwhelmed him and he was moved to tears. Manjrekar to host Marathi 'Big Boss'
Bass-voiced actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar is all set to wear the 'topi' (cap) of 'Bigg Boss' mentor in the Marathi edition which will commence telecast on Colors Marathi from April 15. Ardent Marathi TV viewers who were very curious to know as to who would be finalised as the 'Motthe Saaheb', are apparently happy to know the name. Incidentally, Manjrekar is a close buddy of actor Salman Khan, who recently wrapped up the 11th season of the Hindi BB show, and has been hosting the Bigg Boss Hindi for several previous seasons, The 'BB' reality show platform which is also made in various regional languages, has given instant fame and success to many 'out-of-work' or 'struggler' newcomer contestants who are expected to be vociferous and hyper-aggressive on the show to hike up the show TRPs. As a head 'Big Boss' reprimands the occupants as well as tries to console them. As usual all celebrities will be under spying surveillance 24×7 on camera and the voice of 'Bigg Boss' will be the link between the celebrities and the outside world.
