Charming Aruna Irani is back on TV
Popular TV show – 'Porus' is set to entertain the audiences with a new twist when the veteran actress Aruna Irani enters the show. Carrying the marathon run of her successful showbiz innings further  the screen-queen of yesteryears, will play the character of an Oracle priestess in the upcoming episodes.

“Being a very good and an old friend of mine the director offered me this cameo role,” enthuses Aruna, “I will be portraying the character of an Oracle Priestess. In ancient Greece, Oracles were usually priests who acted as an inspired medium between men and gods to provide advice and make predictions. My character would have a mystic personality with deep wisdom. The ambiguity of the character would also be visible in my appearance and demeanor. My look is also completely different and I am equally excited.”

The Oracle priestess will become a constant adviser and philosopher for Alexander in the upcoming episodes.  Porus very Monday to Friday, 8:30pm on Sony TV!

‘Holi Special’ telly treat
A special TV show “Rang Maharashtracha” devoted to different traditions of Holi celebrations in the state, will be telecast on Colors TV, in 'Tumchya Saatthi Kai Pann' (anything for you), on Thursday and Friday (March1st and 2nd) at 1.30 pm and 9.30 pm.

The participants include artists from the Banjara community from Akola, Shivdas Mhaske and  Omprakash from Kudal and Malwan respectively, from Sindhudurg district. The artists in traditional costumes are expected to regale viewers. Mhaske will narrate the Holi celebrations pictorially, while Omprakash will present a special item. Different items of folk art, including 'Bharud' and 'Gawlan' will also be presented. Besides, the focus will be on food delicacies, including mouth watering “puran poli”, prepared on the occasion of the festival of colour. The programme is expected to be a feast for the viewers.
Baldwin to host new TV talk show

Actor Alec Baldwin will host a new TV show for the ABC network. 'Sundays with Alec Baldwin' has been given an eight-episode order by the network and will feature one-on-one conversations with some of the most interesting people from American pop culture. A sneak peak of the new show will air on March 4, right after the Academy Awards ceremony, the network said in a press release. It will feature in-depth interviews with Baldwin's longtime friend Jerry Seinfeld and cast member Kate McKinnon. "I'm excited about this show and grateful to ABC for taking a chance on me in what is, admittedly, a crowded field,” Baldwin said. Baldwin also hosts and is the executive producer of 'Match Game' on ABC.
