‘Kaala Teeka’ to go off air
‘Kaala Teeka’ has progressed with the gripping narratives of the lives of three generations of the Thakur family. The show started with a stellar cast of veteran actors like Mita, Bhupinder, Daljeet and two child artistes Adaa as Gauri and Sargam as Kaali. The show captured the journey of a girl child Kaali who was treated as a human Kaala Teeka for another child Gauri and was expected to shadow her everywhere for the well-being of the latter. Speaking on the show’s closure, Simran P who is currently seen playing the role of Pavitra said, “This Zee TV show has given me recognition and I have enjoyed being a part of it. Emotionally I am very attached to the show and will surely miss shooting for it. From playing a 20-year-old girl to a mother, I have got a chance to explore my abilities as an actor. I am glad the makers aren’t dragging the storyline as it loses the charm of its plot. So it’s better to conclude the show on a high.”

Brett Lee proclaims his love for Mumbai
Former Australian pacer Brett Lee spilled the beans on the paradoxical relationship between England and his home team, Australia in a conversation with cricketer Sandeep Patil on the show ‘Taste Match’, which airs on Living Foodz and on &TV. The veteran Australian pacer said, “We have a love-hate relationship, they love us and we hate them! But these things in a way make you grow and mature as a player, as well.” While talking about the old rivalry Brett Lee revealed that he is also a passionate musician, a well-versed suit salesman and an actor. Meanwhile, West Indies batsman, Vivian Richards also joined the duo over a sumptuous meal. Proclaiming his love for India’s commercial capital Mumbai, Brett Lee said that he would love to own a house in the city if it weren’t for the skyrocketing rents. Vivian also took a walk down the memory lane and recalled, “Those days, I could not afford a cricket bat and so, I started playing cricket with a coconut tree’s bark. The struggles that I have gone through have motivated me to work harder and emerge successful.”

Superheroes fascinate Vivek
Married TV heart-throb, actor Vivek Dahiya who will be seen dancing away with his wife in 'Nach Baliye' has a room full of Superhero-collectibles and action figures and have spent enough money buying them across different cities he’s travelled till date. Speak of fetishes, the actor reveals, “I’ve always been fascinated with great stories of Superheroes. My most expensive toy was my drone, which had a camera in it.” He further shares, “I’ve kept the child in me alive. I don’t have a particular reason for collecting these action figures but I enjoy it anyway.”
