Aamir to appear on reality show ‘Chala Hawaa Yeu Dya’
Megastar Aamir Khan graced the popular show ‘Chala Hawaa Yeu Dya’ to publicise his ‘Paani’ foundation through which he has adopted three dry-drought-affected villages in Maharashtra and will provide potable water to the villagers. On his birthday along with his friend Satyajit Bhatkal, Aamir announced that they would be adopting more such villages. This special episode will be telecast on Zee Marathi on the occasion of Gudi Padwa on March 27 and 28 at 9.30 pm.
Surekha to spook everyone on ‘Ek Tha Raja...’
Veteran actress Surekha Sikri will be back on 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' as a ghost. The story takes a paranormal turn with the entry of Badi Rani Maa’s spirit while leading lady Eisha Singh will double up as Rani’s ghost while also playing Raja’s wife Naina. Meanwhile, yet another veteran actress Sunila Karmarkar enters the show as Vindyavasini, a witch who will serve as the medium between the ghosts and the mortals and convey Rani and Badi Rani Maa’s messages to Raja and Naina. Surekha Sikri said, “I am very excited to be a part of the show once again. Badi Rani Maa returns as a ghost. She has always been the villain in Raja and Rani’s life. Even after death, she will continue to wreak havoc in their lives. Viewers will see me as a ghost for the first time as I’ve never played such a role. I am very excited to play this spooky role.” The show is all set to take an interesting turn with some thrilling, paranormal episodes coming up to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
‘Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’ to reign on TV
Founder of Sikh Empire, Maharaja Ranjit Singh is known as the last Indian to hold the famed Kohinoor diamond and for gold-plating the Golden Temple. The show sets out to discover all the facets of the man whose philosophies endeared him to his countrymen and whose political acumen struck fear in the heart of his enemies – the British and Afghans. Actors Damanpreet Singh will play the role of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, with Tunisha Sharma playing the role of Ranjit Singh’s wife.
