Talking about her return to television Tasneem said, “I was offered several shows, but I declined as I wanted to focus on my daughter, who's now seven. I didn't want to miss out on her formative years. Ek Vivah….. has a unique concept which has not been seen on television before. I could have waited for nine more years for a good project like this. I hope the audience will like my role and will give me as much love as they had given me during my previous shows.” 'Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi' coming soon on &TV
Veer waits for weight-loss.....
Popular sinewy actor Laksh, is currently being seen as Veer Mehra in Ekta Kapoor's newly launched show 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil'. After his last two shows, Laksh is seen in a different avataar here. The young actor is also following a special diet plan to get into the skin of his character, Veer.
When asked about Veer, Laksh said, "People are thinking that it's a negative character and are relating it to Apoorva Agnihotri from the film Pardes. Which is not true. The exciting part about the character is that he is all into himself and doesn't consider anyone at his level or beyond him. It's different from what I have done before."
"After my last show wrapped up, I thought I should reduce a bit. When Veer's character came to me I felt it's needed. So I went on for a special diet which I am following for the last 45 days and somehow, I feel my facial expressions are much clear now. My diet consists of high protein and I had to decrease the carb intake to almost nil. But I am not complaining because now I have started enjoying portraying Veer on screen," Laksh added. 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' airs from Monday to Friday at 8 pm on Star Plus !
