Sonu Nigam to revive ghazal connect on MTV Unplugged

Rockstar playback-pop singer Sonu Nigam is very excited being a part of MTV Unplugged Season 8 which will go on air on (Republic Day) 26th January at 8 pm.

Enthused Sonu, “Besides my other repertoire, I will also be singing soulful ghazals including some legendary Jagjit Singh tracks, as I wish to revive the ghazal-connect amongst today’s youth and also entertain the older generation who is missing out on listening to soothing, meaningful ghazals, “smiled Nigam.

Besides Sonu, the MTV Unplugged season 8 will bring to the audience an illustrious galaxy of singers including melody-queen Rekha Bharadwaj, pop-sensation Diljit Dosanjh, youth-icon Guru Randhawa who will perform their original tracks. The hit-list also includes the vibrant Neha-Sonu Kakkar sisters, vivacious Jonita Gandhi, Amit Mishra, gorgeous Dhvani Bhanushali, Shahid Mallya, Bhuvan Bham, Neeti Mohan the tall, handsome singer-dude Arjun Kanungo.
