‘India’s Got Talent’-- yet another flagship show of Colors returns to ‘wow’ viewers with some mind-boggling acts in its eighth edition. Helmed by a jury that  decides a verdict par excellence, shares a camaraderie that is legendary. The terrific trio of Malaika Arora, Kirron Kher and Karan Johar reprise their roles as judges in this latest season as well. Produced by Fremantle Media helmed by innovative Aradhana Bhola,  this chapter of ‘India’s Got Talent-8’ is hosted by zany  comedienne Bharti Singh and the suave, glib Ritvik Dhanjani who will add to the entertainment quotient. The show will premiere on Saturday 20th October 2018 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM on Colors. Afternoon D C connected with the effervescent, elegant  ‘ageless’ Malaika Arora who will celebrate her birthday on Oct 23rd. Over to the agile ‘Chaiyyan Chaiyyan’ style-icon charismatic girl:

What shock-value  ‘wow’ stuff  can the audiences expect this time  from ‘IGT-8’ ?
With ‘Woh Talent Hi Kya Jo Kisi Ke Kaam Na Aye’ as its credo, this eighth season of ‘IGT’ brings audiences stories that need to be seen and heard.  This year’s highlights will include breath-taking shock-value performances like techno act, bike formations by the CRPF women, water aerial acts, spell binding Illusionist, malkhambh, a 99-year old female yoga exponent  and first time ever - 3D projection and Holographic interactive acts. Lots of wonder-women this time.

Please  continue…
The quest for finding the best of the best spans the length and breadth of the country and talent from different parts of the society will walk through the ‘Hunar ka Darwaaza’ to reach this stage that sees everyone as equal and are judged purely based on talent.

What is it that that you look forward to?
My experience with the ‘IGT’ show gets better every season. Being able to witness acts that I didn’t know exist is something I look forward to. However, this year will see me dish out innovative hash-tags for the contestants that manage to fascinate me with entertainment & talent.

On a personal level, has this show been a revitalizing catalyst for you?
Of course, I am so fortunate to have such fabulous iconic co-judges like Kirron-jee and Karan Johar because I get to learn so much from them all the time.  Sitting next to Kirron on the show over the past so many seasons, has also improved my Hindi diction and vocabulary (laughs). The show involves a tough task because for  long-hours, we are judging contestants with a diverse variety of super-talents. All the time-- it’s expect the unexpected.

You  rarely scold or fire a dare-devil weirdo for executing  risky stunts ?
That I leave it to Kirron-jee because she is very good at sternly firing some of them but in a positive way like a caring ‘mentor’. And I love it when she does that. By nature I am sensitive and  I do get tensed up or even emotional watching some of those breath-taking, daring or at times, crazy stunts by  contestants.

Please share your frank views on the raging #MeToo campaign ?
As Kirron-jee keeps reiterating, the benchmark ‘Vishakha Guidelines’ must be strictly observed and implemented. As responsible mothers,  we also need to mentor our young budding sons, the fundamental duty to respect and protect all girls and women. Women are not play-objects meant to be suppressed by male dominating power.
