World Water Day: Act before its too late
Yesterday – March 22, was observed as the World Water Day. We look at how, in an ever-growing metropolis, the life-giving liquid is getting increasingly scarce. Like with any commodity that is scant, the pinch of the situation is first felt by the poor as they strive to access it from dams, railway pipeline to the nullahs, sometimes for basic needs and at other times to just cool off on a hot day.
