Showing their 'Muscle Power'
It was a show of strength at Thane's Shivaji Maidan where more than 100 contestants – both men and women posed with their physique focusing on symmetry, shape, proportion, muscle tone, poise and beauty flow at the IBBF Maharashtra Shree 2017.

Bodybuilding is a sport that is never turned off, contestants work towards their goals day in and day out. This way of life is their passion and their love. Rigorous exercise and nutrition regimens are followed in order to achieve success onstage, which was exactly witnessed during this event. The event which also saw bronzed woman contestants with bulging biceps and popping abs, was organised by Maharashtra Bodybuilding Association which is affiliated to Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF). Nitrro Wellness and Fitness Hub, Thane had sponsored the event this year.

Sanit Jadhav of Mumbai was awarded the Maharashtra Shree 2017 and Most Improved Body Builder was awarded to Mahendra Chavan of Pune.

In Women's Body Building section, Kanchi Advani of Mumbai stood First and Earking Sethi of Mumbai Suburbs won the first prize in the Women Model Physic championship.

ADC's Santosh Gupta captured the moments of this muscle-flexing event.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)Today will be an industrious day. The stars foretell that you may visit a historical place, or perhaps a museum. However, Ganesha says, you may need to pay a little attention to your health. If such is the case, it would be better to take the evening off for yourself.
