Immersed in Happiness
Beloved Lord Ganesha was finally bid adieu to in Mumbai city this Tuesday. The auspicious day of the final visarjan is also known as Anant Chaturdashi, or the last day of the Ganesh festival.  Amidst chants of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudcha Varshi Laukar Ya,' lakhs of devotees lined the streets and roads to participate in the processions carrying their favorite deity for a final immersion. Music, colour (gulal), dance, firecrackers  and cheers filled the air as the elephant-god was being taken to various beaches along the city.
The Afternoon Despatch & Courier photographers Trupti Arekar and Santosh Gupta captured the moments of farewell to the Elephant-God.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)If you get a chance to display your presentation skills, don't lose it, says Ganesha. Your eloquence may receive wide acclaim. Your children too may give you reason to be proud. Do remember to take time out for the elderly in your family. By evening, this phase will pass. No serious damage will be done. Things will be back to normal.
