Honouring Mumbai’s - Work Culture - Soldiers
Labour Day which falls on May 1, is celebrated as the International Labour Day in many countries across the world, including India and is dedicated to the labourers and the working class. It is because of these workers, that our city runs smoothly.

Labourers toil in the heat and work hard throughout the year to make ends meet. Their contribution to building the nation is celebrated and honoured on this day.
It does not matter which profession the workers follow, it is pure hard work and dedication, that is expected from them. From the Cylinderwala to Carpenters to the labourers working at the Mines. These are the men who actually work physically and are the real heroes of our society.

The Afternoon D&C photographer Shyam Iyer shoots these heroes at work.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)You may want to increase the scope of your work now and this will mean a lot of publicity. It is time that those around you sit up and take note of your skills. It may have to do with a change of location. Rest assured that your will get some good news about it soon.
