Satyendar Jain directs top official to lodge complaint against Tiwari
New Delhi:
Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday directed the additional chief secretary (home) to lodge a police complaint against state BJP chief Manoj Tiwari for allegedly indulging in violence at the Signature Bridge inauguration. In his note to Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Manoj Parida, Jain said Tiwari and his associates indulged in hooliganism to overawe the highest functionaries of the government at the event where Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other cabinet ministers were present.

MP polls: New faces dominate Congress' third list
Bhopal (MP):
The Congress has issued its third list of 13 candidates for the November 28 assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, which mainly comprises new faces. The party has dropped Pandhurna MLA Jatan Uikey and replaced him with Neelesh Uikey.

Loyalists of Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia also found place on the list.

Both Scindia and Nath, the sitting MP from Chhindwara seat, are believed to be the top contenders for the chief minister's post from the Congress.

Tigress tranquilised at Odisha reserve after two-week chase
Bhubaneswar:
After multiple failed attempts over the past two weeks, forest officials in Odisha's Satkosia Tiger Reserve on Tuesday succeeded in tranquilizing tigress "Sundari", weeks after local people claimed that it killed two persons in the vicinity. The tigress was brought to the state from Madhya Pradesh as part of the Odisha government's tiger reintroduction programme in the reserve.

Sundari was tranquilised on Tuesday morning, her health is stated to be in good condition, said Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) (wildlife) Sandeep Tripathy.

4 puppies allegedly burnt in garbage dump; 3 dead, 1 injured
Hyderabad:
Four puppies sleeping in a garbage dump here were allegedly set on fire by some people, leaving three dead and the other seriously injured, police said Tuesday. The incident occurred Saturday following which a member of an animal welfare organisation lodged a complaint on November 5 alleging that some people set the puppies ablaze, they said. A case under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and IPC was registered, they added.
