Rlys earmarks seats for on-board security personnel
The Railways has earmarked an entire berth for security personnel to enable the passengers to contact them in case of any untoward incident during the course of the journey. The transport behemoth has made available one side lower berth (No 63) in coach S1 in sleeper class trains for the security staff, an official said.

Modi’s Twitter following grows by 52%, Virat Kohli's 61%
Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to be the most followed Indian on Twitter even as the growth in his follower base at 52 per cent was lower than that of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, according to the microblogging site. As per a Twitter report capturing trends in 2017, Modi saw his follower base increasing by 52 per cent to 37.5 million (as of December 4), from 24.6 million in 2016. However, Kohli saw his followers grow by 61 per cent during the same period although on a smaller base.

 The cricketer is ending the year with 20.8 million followers, as against 12.9 million last year.
