A PALATABLE POP-UP

Tuesday, September 12, 2017

A few months ago, Taj’s Michelin-starred chefs from London and San Francisco travelled to Mumbai and Delhi to treat diners to an exquisite dining experience. And, the hotel chain isn’t stopping there! Taj is bringing its patrons a progressive German Küche experience with the launch of its most recent pop-up, called SÜHRING. The name comes from twin chefs Mathias and Thomas Sühring, who also have a restaurant of the same name that has won the title of Bangkok’s best restaurant in its first year of opening! Accompanied by a splendid view of the Arabian Sea, the meal experience at the Chambers Lounge at The Taj Mahal Palace will feature sought-after ingredients such as caviar and black truffles. In addition to this contemporary fare, there will also be an exquisite curation of German and Austrian wines to pair with your meal. On this note, Taljinder Singh, area director – Mumbai and general manager at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, says, “We hope our guests enjoy this experience that will offer the best of modern German progressive cuisine, inspired by traditional family recipes, all elevated to the level of haute cuisine.”
