After six deaths in a police shootout, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is trying to appease the people in MP with dharna as an eye wash. Despite CM's call for dialogue, the stalemate continues and the opposition sharpens attack and the situation remains volatile after taking peace measures to pacify farmers. MPs protest and threaten to spread agitation to other states which pose a challenge for the Modi Government putting NDA under tremendous pressure to resolve the crisis early. In an attempt to seize the opportunity to dislodge BJP government in 2018 Assembly elections, the opposition is adding fuel to the fire. Battle lines are clearly drawn between BJP Government and the opposition to tackle farmer's issue as a prestige issue and trying to make mountain out of a molehill as the Congress party is trying to root back to state politics and they are out of Centre politics for the last three years. Chouhan is trying to buy solace after facing a volatile situation and the opposition is trying to hit the purple patch in view of farmer's unrest. In the end, people suffer because of politics.
