Citizens regret voting for BJP?

Friday, March 09, 2018

People collectively voted in favour of the BJP fondly hoping that it would be totally different from the Congress and strained their nerve and sinew for the all round development of our country by thinking that the BJP would reduce the prices of vegetables and essential commodities, and improve the condition of the Govt., hospitals, roads and transport. Now, alas, the same voters are scared as to where our country is headed towards, and is seeking to invoke the Almighty to save the Bank Deposits. The situation at Jammu and Kashmir has worsened because of the PDP with whom BJP is still holding an alliance. Even now, ATMs are running dry and if at all they work, they deliver only notes of Rs.2,000 and Rs.500 denominations making it difficult to transact for want of change which is hard to come by. Many notes of Rs.100 and Rs.10 are soiled/ torn being issued by the Banks are not acceptable in the markets subjecting the people to untold hardships. Further, BJP in Opposition criticised the Aadhaar but now they are making Aadhaar compulsory in every walk of life while the matter is being deliberated in the Court of Justice. The Aadhaar seems to be having technical deficiencies and prone to leakage. Jobs seem to be a distant dream, there is just no generation of it. Agriculture seems to be a grey area. The govt seems to be clueless with any of the problems. Middle-class people and farmers are suffering. The prices have been soaring and there is no control. The PM keeps blaming the Congress, Nehru, Indira Gandhi etc. over any issue. The people have lost the hopes and are doubtful as to whether at all this Govt would be productive.
