Beware, public! Price rise must be resisted

Monday, December 04, 2017

The prices of essential commodities are being artificially increased by retailers. Items are not as expensive as they are being portrayed. In fact, there appears to be a systematic looting by the retailers with the direct connivance of hoarders and certain political leaders. One of the ways to counter this, is by passive resistance. The general public can greatly help in this by either curtailing their consumption or judiciously regulating their consumption. Buying thriftily and buying only when required and only as  much as required will greatly help in reducing the prices. The retailers are taking advantage of the fact that the public starts hoarding commodities more out of panic rather than out of necessity. The public must realise that there is no shortage of goods. All the shortages are only artificially created and retailers are encashing on this.
