Airport chaos

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

It is indeed a strange thing taking place in the Indian airlines industry as the routine upkeep sends 225 flights for a toss and a total mess in other airports elsewhere also. Instead of keeping an alternate means to end this chaos, the AAI (Airport Authority of India) chose a wrong time to undertake maintenance work. The disruption inconvenienced thousands of air passengers. As a part of the ongoing maintenance work, flights were remained suspended also. The chaos is self created one and AAI needs to answer for the mess up. To top it all, all the passengers have been asked to contact their respective airlines for revised travel schedules. A careless and lethargic attitude put the passengers to total discomfort and the mess is going to continue for couple of days more. This is a real sad story in the Indian Airline Industry.

Kudos to the entire Indian contingent winning medals at commonwealth games. Their performance and medals are a celebration and triumph of human spirit. Many dedicated sports coaches are still training only out of their passion for the sport despite financial constraints. The Government and sponsoring organisation should come forward and allocate sufficient funds and encourage other sports, like cricket. Word by word, sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph, these athletes have left their mark in the pages of history.
