Socks for diabetics

Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Bonjour has introduced premium socks catering to diabetic men. These are crafted with Silvadur Technology. The diabetic socks, according to a company release, are made with extracts of N9 pure silver and come in with a non-elastic socks band, for easier circulation of blood.

Apt for those with sensitive feet, these socks are woven in breathable, antibacterial material that has an in-built air ventilation technology; providing comfort and cleanliness while decreasing diabetes related neuropathy.

The wide and long build of these medicated/ health socks promote calf support for better transmission of blood to/from the toes, providing a complete package in soothing neutral colours, says the company.

RK Jain, Managing Director, Bonjour, says: “Unfortunately, the cause of well-being is at risk as deadly diseases like diabetes are threatening mortality. Diabetes increases the chances of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary diseases, especially in men. And this is most prevalent in developing countries, as they imbibe practices of the west… This category of socks can be considered a step towards curbing the spread of diabetes, with proper lifestyle changes and medication.”

Price Rs 215 onwards
