Starry studio

Saturday, February 09, 2019

While the sight of starry showstoppers does not surprise you on the main runway at LFW, seeing showstoppers at the studio section sure fills you with joy. At Manoj Agarrwal’s show it was Malaika Arora who ended the show, appearing like a free-flying bird in a halter neck ombré, ivory gown. Kanchan More Sabharwal opted for Daisy Shah who was a picture of glam in a pale green, eri silk gown with drapes and pleats. Anjali Verma decided on Chitrangada Singh who looked lovely in a cherry red, heavily embellished, floor-length gown, with a 60-inch flare that ended in a long train. Vaani Raghupathy Vivek had Meenakshi Dixit as the one to start the show in a baby pink blouse with extended ruffles and a skirt. The showstopper was badminton star Saina Nehwal in a heavily embellished, bright yellow lehenga and blouse with a beige dupatta with fringes adding to the impact.
