Shaken and stirred was what it was as Diageo Reserve Brands presented an exclusive World Class Resourceful Bartending Session with Diageo Global Cocktailian Lauren Mote and Diageo India Reserve Brand Ambassador Jamie Walker. The session at Slink and Bardot gave one an incredible insight to being sustainable and green behind the bar. Introducing the session was Jamie Walker who spoke about the World Class Platform and how beneficial and educative the theme of Resourceful Bartending has been associated with it. The session conducted by Lauren Mote highlighted various aspects a bartender needs to consider while working behind the bar. Working in a bar exposes the bartender to many endeavours, from electricity wastage to water usage to disposables such as straws and napkins. One learnt of the creative use of wasted ingredients like creating syrups from worn-out citrus fruits to plugging off the ice machine while the bar is shut.
