Loud and clear

Thursday, March 16, 2017

The music was heard loud and clear as Rave magazine celebrated its 15th anniversary at Taj Lands End. Guests were enthralled with performances by Kailash Kher who launched his band SurFira, Grammy Award winner V Selvaganesh. Gerardo Velez and bands like Bombay Black, Dhol For Soul and Dharavi United. Enjoying the music were the likes of Prasoon Joshi, Anuraadha Tewari, Shaahid Amir and Lalitya Munshaw, while looking happy indeed was Rishi Shah, publisher and CEO, Crossbones Media. The talk was on Rave, a medium through which musicians from all over the world can interact and create something never seen before, a magazine for emerging music in India, a unifying force for all genres of music  from classical to electronic, from traditional to contemporary, from north to south and from devotional to hip-hop, and a showcase of the diversity of human experience in a celebration of unity of the human spirit.
