Intimate look

Saturday, April 28, 2018

All eyes were on the second edition of India Intimate Fashion Week that kicked off with a super show by Hong Kong based jewellery designer Mona Shroff with colourful clothing by Rajiv Mehta. Rio Carnival was what it was called with the models dancing down the ramp at The Leela. Even Mona Shroff got into the act! Also appealing to the audience was the Gen-Next designers from INIFD Bandra that showcased collections called Mystical Egypt and Grace of Greece. La Initmo presented innerwear for men and women. Plus-size lingerie label Melons India had Indian transgender model Mona Varonica Campbell as showstopper. Rashmi Solanki presented a line called Rudra with Thakur Anoop Singh as showstopper. It was an amalgamation of khadi comprising contemporary designs of bralets, shorts, skirts, shirts and jackets. And the finale belonged to Filipino designer Jef Albea with his bridal lingerie line.
