Flight of fancy

Wednesday, April 19, 2017

It was a flight of fancy at St. Regis as Lufthansa announced the commencement of its daily flight from Mumbai to Munich with the most modern long-haul aircraft of the world, the Airbus A350-900. Mumbai becomes the third destination worldwide to receive Lufthansa’s A350-900 and the second Indian destination after New Delhi. Sharing in the excitement was Wolfgang Will, Senior Director, South Asia, Lufthansa Group Airlines. Having made India home for over half a century, the airline is continuing to cultivate the long-lasting trustful relations reflective of its ‘More Indian Than You Think’ commitment. Lufthansa Group offers Indian passengers three very strong and distinctive airline brands: Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines and Brussels Airlines. Also present at the afternoon meet was Corinna Born of Munich Airport. Yes, on screen, Munich Airport, touted as Europe’s best airport and the world’s best terminal, came alive with its attractions and fabulous service.
