Online ethnic store Craftsvilla and Femina made magic together as they launched Anuswara, Craftsvilla’s second in-house brand that offers contemporary ethnic wear for women. This was unveiled at Aka in Kala Ghoda with attractive actor Adah Sharma as showstopper of the fashion show. She wore a chic crop top in Kalamkari prints that was much admired. Anuswara, you heard, draws inspiration from the multitude of crafts in India and gives them a contemporary look and feel. Consumers can choose from fusion and daily wear apparels in three collections: Ikat Illustrations, Kalamkari Tales and Summer Hues. The talk was that women not only want ethnic wear for special occasions like weddings and festivals, but also for daily wear as it is cool and comfortable with that added chic quotient. Present at the launch was Manoj Gupta, co-founder of Craftsvilla who was happy with the beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary designs.
