Day one of IBFW ended with the crisp COMO Collective show in association with MUD (Make-Up Designory). Breezing across the ramp was an amalgamation of key showcasing designers: Brindisi, Gavin Miguel, Nidhi Munim, Megha Garg, Mohammed Kazhar and The Natty Garb. It was a fashion feast of resort wear, beach wear, cocktail and party wear. The Natty Garb showcased their ‘State of Mind’ collection and their design note read: “A blank mind is the calmest state of being, is it really?/ Or is it a blank canvas preparing to welcome havoc?/ I see a blazing bolt illuminating the foggy space of my mind/ It’s actually a fiercely violent thunder forewarning a catastrophe/ Or is it a camera flash bringing back memories of long lost love?/ I’m rummaging through the abyss of my mind with a flashlight/ Tracing mayhem back to a playful wrecking game we played/ Stitching emotions and unbuttoning inhibitions.”
