Bridal wave

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

A wonderful wedding experience was what it was at the Shaadi by Marriott show at JW Marriott. It was an extravaganza that presented breathtaking India inspired décor designs in green-gold by National Decorators and authentic Indian cuisine created by the hotel’s master chefs, unveiled in the backdrop of bridal fashion by celebrated couturier Vikram Phadnis. Models sashayed down the grand staircase of the lovely lobby dressed in classic, elegant pastel hued bridal wear with the décor of candles, chandeliers and drapes creating a stunning visual montage of what a perfect wedding should look like. Paired with handcrafted cuisine, the evening spelt refined elegance and good taste in every way. The garments embraced gentle drapes in subtle shades of pink, blue, green, brown, grey, beige and black they were elegantly embellished with intricate zardosi, sequins and pearl embroidery. And the shining showstoppers were Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kapoor.
