Art and heart

Wednesday, October 11, 2017

A heart for art is what people had when they visited Nargis Dutt Foundation’s Pigment annual charity art exhibition at the Garden View of Taj Lands End. The cocktail and hors d’oeuvre evening hosted by Priya Dutt and curated by Bina Aziz saw guests admire the over 150 works of art including paintings, serigraphs, sculptures, photography by modern and contemporary artists and fine silk rugs from Kashmir. It is nice to note that the funds raised at Pigment, described as colours with purpose, will be used to create a zilla parishad school in Palghar. NDF, you learnt, has completed 36 years of service to society in the areas of health, education and rural development. It has been working silently with cancer hospitals in India towards funding poor patients for their treatment, cancer awareness and holding medical camps for the poor. Supporting the cocktail evening was Grover Zampa Vineyards and Kingfisher.
