I am interested in the D.Phil Zoology program at Oxford University. Do I need a Master’s level degree to apply? Also do I need to submit a GRE score for applying?
—Deepani Basu

Admission to DPhil in Zoology at Oxford University does not normally require a master's level qualification. Evidence of genuine interest in biology and sometimes other relevant fields of research (mathematics, engineering, and statistics) are beneficial to the application. This might be demonstrated by having undertaken independent field work or research, relevant vacation employment, or having already made research publications or presentations. The GRE or GMAT score is not needed for applying.

I am planning to apply for the MS Oceanography program to UCSD for Fall 2018. Can you please send me the list of documents needed for applying along with the deadline for application?

—Sumeru Vinayak

Graduating students taking the IB diploma examinations in May 2018 may apply by submitting their IB predicted scores, as attested by their schools. Self-declared predicted scores will not be accepted.
