My daughter is currently studying in Grade XI. She is interested in Art and Design. She is interested in studying for a short term course (about 4-6 weeks) in the US. Her favourite college is Rhode Island School Of Design. Can you please recommend any suitable short courses for her at RISD?
— Kuntal Bhatnagar
The Summer Pre-College Program at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) offers 16- to 18-year-old high school students a comprehensive introduction to the experience of studying in an art school environment. For six weeks, students follow a college-level studio curriculum, live in RISD residence halls and experience campus life at an art school. The program is focused, serious and challenging; students engage in the core elements of a RISD education, from foundation drawing and design courses, to critical studies in art, to focused concentration in a choice of diverse majors.
I have completed my B.A Psychology from Christ College. I am interested in doing an MS in Organizational Psychology from UK. Do I require any work experience before I apply?
— Alkesh Poojara
The application for the MS in Organizational Psychology in UK Universities will consider the following parameters along with your academic results:
Why you want to study Organisational Psychology at graduate level
Why you want to study Industrial/Organisational and Business Psychology at that particular college
What particularly attracts you to that programme
How your academic and professional background meets the demands of this rigorous programme
Where you would like to go professionally with your degree
For most colleges relevant work experience is considered desirable, but not essential.
