I am interested in studying for the Certificate program in Biotechnology at McGill University in Canada. What are the Entrance Requirements for the same?

The Entrance Requirements for the Certificate program in Biotechnology at McGill University in Canada are:
You must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or closely related fields.

A cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.2 over 4.0 over the last two full years or its equivalent. For certain international institutions this is equivalent to a Second Upper Class Division overall standing.

Introductory courses in biochemistry and cellular biology, and advanced courses in molecular biology is required prior to applying to the program. It is strongly suggested to enclose information on these specific requirements (e.g. course outlines or descriptions) so the background can be properly assessed.

I am applying for the MA in Political Science at Columbia University later this year. Can you please provide the Application Requirements for the same?

A complete application includes:

  • Transcripts of all previous post-secondary education
  • A statement of academic purpose
  • A curriculum vitae or résumé
  • Three letters of recommendation from academic sources
  • GRE scores

TOEFL or IELTS examination to fulfill the English Proficiency Requirement (The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University requires a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based test, 100 on the internet-based test or a 7.5 for the IELTS.)

The London College of Fashion at UAL (University of Arts London) offers a short course in: Special Effects Make Up for Film and TV. This special effects course will introduce you to many aspects of film and TV makeup designs ranging from natural beauty and HD ready techniques through to period make-up, face painting, aging make-up and special effects such as cuts, scars and skin disorders.  The duration of the program is 10 days from 12th June’2017 to 23rd June’2017 and the cost of the program is £1595.
