There are number of options with the PCB combination available at the UG level such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, Pharmacy, Bio-informatics, Food Technology, Para-medical fields, and so on. For a career in research, your son will atleast  havethe subject until Masters and then pursue PhD.

I will be completing TYBCom this year and I aim to be an accountant. I  plsn M.COM in accountancy. Is this  the right option?
—Kshitija Wadkar

Yes, do take up M.Com. (Accountancy) for starting a career in the field of accountancy. Along with masters, please learn the relevant accounting softwares too and keep yourself updated of the latest happenings in the field of accounts and taxation.

My nephew is interested in becoming a director, right now being in college he takes active part in college skits. He’s currently in FYBA .What should he do further to take up this career professionally?
—Rachel D’Cunha

He can complete his graduating in any field; after graduation,  he can enroll for a course in film direction with any of the recognised or private institutes. During his undergraduate course, he can participate in various workshops that are conducted and also take up college level direction for various fests and competitions. Try and find if he can assist any established Director to learn the nuances on the job.
