I am in TYBCom this year and I am interested in commerce related fields only, which options do you have?     

Some of the courses that you can opt for courses in the field of Commerce are: Accounting & Finance, Banking & Insurance, Taxation, Mutual funds, Financial Markets, CA, CS, ICWA and similar ones.

I am science student and very much interested in the cause of environment. I wanted to know what study path should i take if i want to become an environmentalist [but not an activist or a lawyer]?

To become an environmentalist you need pursue Graduation & Post Graduation in Biological or Chemical or Physical sciences and study Environmental Studies as an allied subject. There are various courses available after graduation that you pursue.

Is a career in Banking and Finance possible without one’s background in Commerce? I have done BA [History] and i am looking out for a job in a bank.

Yes, it’s possible. To learn the fundamentals of a banking sector, there are various pG courses in the field of banking, which you can take up or directly apply to banks and undergo the training to make a career in this field.
