I am in second year BMM but I want a career in foreign languages. Which languages are possible for me to take up? What are the career opportunities in these careers?
—Kushal Tiwari

You can choose from French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin [Chinese] and so on, all of which can be learned, but please understand that you should have a flair for languages. You can certainly go ahead by enrolling with any of the private institutes or taking up Bachelors and Masters Courses in the same. Since the work involved remains the same – you could work as a translator, an interpreter or assist in writing and teaching – you may choose a language which you feel you will be able to grasp better. Utilise the vacations to get acquainted with various languages so that you can make an informed decision.

I have completed my graduation in Commerce this year. Can you please suggest any accounts courses which will help me find work with a domestic firm as a junior accountant?
    —Medha Bhave

You can learn accounting packages like Tally to begin with. You also have the option of pursuing M.Com or any short term diploma in Business Finance/Accounts. Ensure you strengthen the fundamentals of Accounting and simultaneously start applying for jobs.

I am a science (chemistry) graduate. I wish to know about jobs in medical transcription that I can pursue in future.
    —Pushpanjali

As a medical transcriptionist you can work at a hospital or for a medical transcription service provider. Suitable employment opportunities are also available in a doctor's chamber, insurance companies and medical products marketing companies. You could also find work with a medical book publishing house.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)While work seems to be under control with great possibilities of further improvement the problem seems to be the home front. Developments in family create an air of uncertainty. Elders and youngsters alike may turn to you to find a solution. You have to be impartial considering that you do not approve of the conduct of one of your relatives. Your beloved may also feel a bit low and neglected.
