Suchitra Surve Director, Growth Centre, is a Post Graduate in Business Administration and has specialised in HR, and also holds a Post Graduation Diploma in Career Counselling

I am studying in TYBAF. I am confused about my future. Please suggest some course to become an accountant [not CA] which will me get a goodjob in the future.

You can opt for the Master’s course in Commerce/Finance and also learn the latest version of accounting software; getting work experience will also help you.

I am studying in first year of the hotel management course but do not want to continue with it. Can I secure direct admission in SYBA?
– Sanjay Khare

Generally, such switches are not allowed by recognised Institutions. You will have to clear F.Y.B.A. first to secure admission for the 2nd year.

My son will complete his Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication this year. What are the  options available to him?
—Rajeev Keswani

Your son can opt for further studies either in an Advanced Diploma or consider a lateral entry into Second year of Engineering in fields such as Computer, IT, Electronics and Telecommunication and so on. The admission to these courses is at the discretion of the college depending on the availability of the seats.
