I have done B.E. in Electronics Engineering and passed out in 2012. I am currently working for an Elevator Company as a Service Executive. Recently, my interests in elevator field is growing and I'm searching for some universities who offer Master degree in the same field.
— Prasad Pathak
Please note that to the best of my knowledge, so far in India there is no separate recognised Master’s course in Elevator Engineering. A lot of Universities abroad offer M.S. [Elevator Engineering]. So you can look out for the Universities once you finalise the country.
My daughter is in class 10 and she is interested in Journalism. Can she do her course after her class 10 or is there anything else? Which college to go for Journalism, in Thane/Mumbai? Please guide me.
— Malini Dasgupta
Your daughter can take up a post-graduate course in Journalism/ Mass Communication after completing her Bachelor’s in any faculty i.e., Arts/Mass Media or any other field. There is no college that offers this course after class 10, so she can opt for the same after class 12 (after graduation). As a Journalist your daughter would have job openings in newspapers, magazines, website content, advertising agency, publication houses and so on.
I have done my B.Com and currently doing my M.Com part 1 from University of Mumbai (IDOL) through correspondence. What is better to do B.ED course after M.Com or doing M.Com. Can I do M.Com and B.Ed?
— Shobha Ramaswamy
Since you are already pursuing M.Com part 1, you might as well complete the 2nd year. Do note that you will have to clear the entrance exam and invest 2-years full time for completing the B.Ed. course [the eligibility of which is Graduation]. In case, you have excellent time management skills and also able to do justice to both the courses then you may opt for pursuing B.Ed. [Fulltime] and M.Com. through the correspondence route else you will have to choose one of the 2 depending on your potential as well as goals. The decision is entirely personal.
