Suchitra Surve Director, Growth Centre, is a Post Graduate in Business Administration and has specialised in HR, and also holds a Post Graduation Diploma in Career Counselling

My son wants to pursue Arts, I am not sure about the options he has. Please advice what are the prospects after graduation for an Arts student?
— Ashish Sen

After class 12th there are a number of options to study further in the fields of Arts. Arts itself has a number of specializations like Psychology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Languages [Indian / Foreign], Literature, and many more. One can opt for other fields like Social Work, Fine Arts, Law, Humanities,  Management,  Hospitality, Mass Media, Designing [Fashion/ Interior and so on],  and so on. Decide on the one that is as per your ability and your long term goals. The best course would be the one which is in congruence with your aptitude, personality as well as intelligence.

I am in S.Y.Bcom and I wish to join the Army. What should I do after graduation?
- Vinay

After completing your Graduation you can opt for the Defence services by clearing the CDSE exam and also fulfilling the medical and fitness eligibility.
